These graters used to be made by a french company called mouli, which later became known as moulinex. Original vintage all-metal mouli graters sell for a lot of money these days. My mother had one when i was a child! A few other reviews have said that some of the cheese comes down the side of the rotary part, ungrated. It did with the originals too! This does make a fair job of grating cheddar cheese, and the bits that come down the side can be put back in again. Next time i have spaghetti bolognese, i'll put the cheese on the same way i did as a child!
